Kangana returns with 'Simran' teaser and it reminds us of Queen
After the debacle of Rangoon, National Award winning actor Kangana Ranaut promises a strong comeback with Hansal Mehta’s Simran. The film’s teaser was released on Monday morning.
Kangana, who plays the role of a Gujarati NRI named Praful Patel aka Simran, can be seen in a full of life character much like her previous outings Queen and Tanu Weds Manu.
From roaming around in a housekeeper’s uniform to trying different wigs in a departmental store, Kangana has clearly returned to her quirky side. Interestingly, the teaser has no dialogues but the Rajjo star manages to create an impact regardless.
The film’s storyline has been kept under wraps and nothing has been leaked as of now. According to reports, the movie is a crime thriller but the teaser doesn’t even come close this explanation.
Slated for a September 15 release, Simran is the first time Kangana and Mehta have collaborated for a film.
