“Kong: Skull Island” Takes a Journey into the Jungle

The new Kong: Skull Island trailer has arrived from Warner Bros.

Just under two weeks out from release, Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have released the excellent final trailer for Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ “Kong: Skull Island”.

Cut much more akin to the trailers for “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “Suicide Squad,” and set mostly to The Animals’ awesome “We Gotta Get out of This Place,” the new trailer shows off much more than previous trailers and TV spots have to date.

Set in the 1970s, the story follows diverse team of scientists, soldiers and adventurers uniting to explore a mythical, uncharted island in the Pacific, as dangerous as it is beautiful.

Cut off from everything they know, the team ventures into the domain of the mighty Kong, igniting the ultimate battle between man and nature. Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson John Goodman, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, John Ortiz, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Thomas Mann, Terry Notary and John C. Reilly star.

“Kong: Skull Island” hits regular and IMAX theaters March 10th.
